The Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance Pays Tribute to Valentino Garavani with a Commemorative Coin
On the occasion of Valentino Garavani’s birthday on 11 May, the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance will issue during the course of this year the “Valentino Garavani Commemorative Coin”, produced by the Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute in two versions, gold and silver.

Fondazione Valentino Garavani e Giancarlo Giammetti Honored at the 2025 Differenza Donna Awards for Its Shared Cultural and Social Commitment
The Fondazione Valentino Garavani e Giancarlo Giammetti has received the Fondazione Ambassador for Women’s Rights Award at the 2025 Differenza Donna Awards. The prize was presented by Differenza Donna APS during its annual event on December 15th, held at the Auditorium of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, an occasion dedicated to celebrating women and men who, through their actions, inspire a fairer society free from violence and discrimination.
